In this story, Bird wants to experience adventures but Giraffe is perfectly happy with what he is doing! He never worries if Bird flies off for a while, until one day his friends fails to return. Giraffe has a bad feeling about Bird’s disappearance and sets off to rescue him.
The book ‘Giraffe Problems’ is written by Jory John and illustrated by Lane Smith. The main character, Edward the giraffe, doesn’t like his neck. He tries to hide it, disguise it, dress it up…but until he makes friends with a tortoise (who has a short neck) he doesn’t realise that actually his neck is very useful and has a purpose!

The book ‘Good Rosie!’ is written by Kate DiCamillo and illustrated by Harry Bliss. In this story, Rosie finds life at home a little boring so her owner takes her to the park. She wants to join in with other dogs, but doesn’t really know how to make friends. The other dogs encourage her to play and eventually she realises that even though all the dogs are different they can still be friends!
The book ‘Goodnight Already!’ is written by Jory John and illustrated by Benji Davies. In this story, Bear is exhausted and all he wants is to go to sleep. But his neighbour Duck is wide awake, and all he wants to do is hang out with his friend Bear!
