This book ‘Four Feet, Two Sandals’ is written by Karen Lynn Williams and Khadra Mohammed. It is about two girls who meet in a refugee camp. After receiving donated clothing they realize they have one sandal each from a matching pair, and decide to share the shoes. Themes such as strength, hope and courage are explored in this book.

In this story an injured magpie and a one-eyed dog become friends until a fox comes into their life and things begin to change.
